About the Role

Agoura Animal Clinic is an established, full-service, multi-doctor hospital that provides quality veterinary care for dogs, cats, exotics, pocket pets, and birds. We have been providing individualized care for scaley and furry pets in the community for over 40 years. We pride ourselves on fostering a team-oriented and family-like work environment. We also are proud of our relationships with the community and are happy to provide free first exams for animals adopted from local shelters!

This is a perfect opportunity for a veterinarian that is interested in taking their career to the next level. We are looking to develop this next doctor into a potential leader for our practice. Surgery experience and experience with exotics are a plus! 

About The Hospital

Our Mentorship

For new grads who join our team, we invest our time to ensure you get the support, time, and guidance for your first job out of vet school. Our approach to bringing new grads aboard includes:

• Structured orientation and mentorship program
• Opportunities for Zoom calls and round table discussions with other new and recent graduates.
• New grad peer advisors for networking and support as you navigate your first DVM position.
• Slack group discussions to connect you with additional experienced vets for case reviews, connection, and advice.

The City of Agoura Hills, CA, is nestled in the eastern Conejo Valley between the Simi Hills and the Santa Monica Mountains, in Los Angeles County. Agoura Hills is home to The Canyon Club, which is a highly regarded concert venue that hosts many national and regional touring acts. For sports enthusiasts, we are close to venues to see the Dodgers, Rams, Lakers, Kings, and The Ducks. We are close to the ocean for nature enthusiasts as well as areas to hike.
