Dawn Zeilinger-Garcia, D.V.M.
Dr. Dawn Zeilinger was born and raised in Kailua, Hawaii, where, sadly, she did not learn to surf or dance the hula. She has always loved nature and animals of all kinds, from ladybugs to whales. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from UC Davis in 1998. Her special interests include pediatrics, geriatrics, and internal medicine, and she especially enjoys working with feline, rabbit, and pocket pet patients.
She lives in Camarillo with her husband, son, and three cats, and would have a larger menagerie if her husband would let her! With an active young son, she doesn’t have any free time, but if she did, she would enjoy gardening and walking on the beach. She does make time to sing in her church choir.
